Last updated: May 22, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website at orlandosurgery.com (the "Site"), operated by Orlando Minimally Invasive Surgery, P.A. ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. No medical advice; no doctor-patient relationship
The content on the Site — including procedure descriptions, blog articles, FAQs, and surgeon biographies — is provided for general informational purposes only. It is not medical advice and does not create a doctor-patient relationship between you and Orlando Minimally Invasive Surgery, P.A. or any of our surgeons.
Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified healthcare provider with any questions you may have about a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read on this Site.
In a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
2. Forms and contact submissions
When you submit a consultation request or contact form on the Site, you understand that:
- Submitting a form does not schedule an appointment. Our intake team will follow up to schedule.
- Submitting a form does not establish you as a patient of the practice.
- You should not submit detailed medical or health information through Site forms — they are not a secure channel for protected health information.
- We will follow up with you at the contact information you provide for scheduling and care-related purposes.
3. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, images, surgeon photographs, and the overall design — is owned by Orlando Minimally Invasive Surgery, P.A. or used with permission and is protected by U.S. and international copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any Site content without our prior written permission, except that you may print or download pages for your own personal, non-commercial reference.
4. Patient stories and testimonials
Any patient stories, reviews, or testimonials on the Site reflect the individual patient's experience and are not a guarantee or promise of any particular outcome. Surgical results vary patient to patient based on medical history, anatomy, lifestyle, and adherence to post-operative instructions.
5. Third-party links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services (insurance carrier pages, financing partners, professional society websites, etc.). We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or terms of service. Visit those sites at your own discretion.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Orlando Minimally Invasive Surgery, P.A., its physicians, staff, and affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Site or any reliance on Site content. The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including any liability for medical malpractice arising from the doctor-patient relationship that may be established at an in-person visit.
7. Privacy
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect information collected through the Site.
8. Changes to these Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after a change constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
